Here are some frequently asked questions about recovery from penis filler:

How Long Does Recovery Typically Take?

The recovery period from penis filler typically varies, but most individuals can expect to resume normal activities within a few days to a week. The recovery timeline from penis filler typically involves initial swelling and bruising in the first few days, followed by gradual improvement in the following weeks.

Factors such as individual healing processes, the amount of filler injected, and overall health can influence the recovery timeline. Supportive underwear can be helpful in post-treatment to minimize swelling and enhance results.

Applying ice packs to the area can help reduce any discomfort or swelling. Hydration is also crucial during this period as it aids in flushing out toxins and promoting overall healing.

    What is the Recovery Timeline?

Week 1-2: As the swelling subsides, which can take 1-2 weeks, you may start noticing enhanced results.

Week 3: Most of the swelling should diminish, and the area will begin to feel more normal. It’s important to follow post-procedure care instructions given by Dr. Glenn to ensure a smooth recovery process.

Some may experience mild discomfort, but this can often be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers and cold compresses. Monitoring progress, maintaining good hygiene, and staying in touch with the medical team for any concerns are essential parts of the recovery journey.

    Are Hydration and Nutrition Important?

Recovery updates are crucial after any procedure, and what you eat and drink can significantly impact how your body heals. To promote optimal recovery, focus on consuming foods rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Hydration levels are equally important; aim to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated and aid in the elimination of toxins. Setting realistic recovery goals and considering these dietary and hydration factors can help ensure a smoother and more successful healing process.

What Should You Do If You Experience Complications During Recovery?

In case of experiencing complications during the recovery phase from penis filler, it is crucial to contact Dr. Glenn immediately for guidance and appropriate management.

Promptly seeking medical advice in situations where unexpected issues arise post-penis filler treatment is essential for ensuring a safe and effective recovery process. Dr. Glenn can offer valuable insights and recommend specific techniques to address any complications that may occur.

How Long Do the Results of Penis Filler Last?

Factors that influence how long the results last include the type of filler used, individual metabolism, and the level of physical activity. Optimal results can be extended by following proper post-procedure guidelines, such as avoiding strenuous activities for a recommended recovery duration and refraining from sexual activity for a certain period. Managing discomfort after the procedure can be achieved through the use of prescribed medications, ice packs, and proper rest. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, can help prolong the effects of the filler.

  • Comprehensive guide to penis fillers: types, benefits, and risks

Comprehensive guide to penis fillers: types, benefits, and risks

If you’re exploring options to enhance your penis size, you might have come across penis fillers. These non-surgical treatments have become a popular choice for those seeking a temporary [I would take out temporary] boost. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you understand what penis fillers are, how they work, and what to consider before deciding if they’re right for you.

    What Are Penis Fillers?

Penis fillers are injectable treatments designed to temporarily increase the size of the penis. Whether you’re interested in adding girth or length, these fillers offer a non-invasive alternative to surgery. They can enhance sexual satisfaction and self-esteem without the risks of surgery.

    Types of Penis Fillers

    1. Hyaluronic Acid: This is a widely used filler known for its safety and effectiveness. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps retain moisture. When injected into the penis, it adds volume and improves texture. Results typically last 1 year or longer, and the effects can be reversed if necessary.
    2. Fat Transfer: This technique involves taking fat from another area of your body, such as the abdomen or thighs, and injecting it into the penis. Using your own body fat can reduce the risk of allergic reactions, but results can be less predictable as some of the fat may be reabsorbed over time. This is also a much more involved procedure, often requiring anesthesia.
    3. Collagen-based Fillers: Collagen, a protein found in the skin, is another option for adding volume. While effective, collagen-based fillers are less common today due to the development of newer, more reliable fillers. They may require more frequent touch-ups and have a higher risk of allergic reactions.
    4. Calcium Hydroxyapatite: Calcium hydroxyapatite (or hydroxylapatite) is one of the most well-studied dermal fillers worldwide, and is effective for soft tissue augmentation due to its high elasticity and viscosity, and its ability to induce long-term collagen formation. Those qualities, along with Calcium hydroxyapatite’s well-established safety profile, makes it an ideal agent as a penis filler.

What to Expect from the Procedure

The procedure for getting penis fillers is generally straightforward. A trained medical professional will use a fine needle to inject the filler into specific areas of the penis. The treatment usually takes less than an hour, and you can often return to your daily activities almost immediately. You might experience some bruising or swelling afterward, but these effects typically subside within a few days. Results are visible right away, with further improvement as any initial swelling decreases.

    Benefits of Penis Fillers

Penis fillers offer several advantages. They are less invasive than surgical options, which means a shorter recovery time and fewer risks. Additionally, the temporary nature of fillers allows you to try out a larger size without committing to permanent changes. This flexibility can be appealing to those looking to enhance their size without long-term implications.

    Risks and Considerations

As with any medical procedure, there are risks to consider. Common side effects include bruising, swelling, and discomfort at the injection site. In rare cases, more serious complications such as infections or allergic reactions can occur. Since the results are temporary, you may need additional treatments to maintain the desired effect. Consulting with a qualified professional can help mitigate these risks and ensure you achieve the best possible outcome.

    Choosing a Provider

Selecting a skilled and experienced practitioner is crucial for achieving the best results. In the Phoenix area, Thunderbird Men’s Health stands out as a premier choice for penis enlargement. Known for its expertise and dedication to patient care, Thunderbird Men’s Health offers a range of advanced options using the Upsize™ procedure. Dr. Jordan Glenn is experienced at administering penis fillers, ensuring both safety and effectiveness. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering outstanding results, Thunderbird Men’s Health is a top choice for those considering this enhancement method.

    Costs and Availability

The cost of penis filler treatments can vary widely, typically ranging from several hundred to a few thousand dollars, depending on the type of filler and the provider’s location. Availability may also vary based on your geographic location, so it’s worth researching local options.

    Conclusion

Penis fillers offer a temporary and minimally invasive way to enhance penis size. By understanding the different types of fillers, the procedure, and associated risks, you can make an informed choice about whether this option is suitable for you. Be sure to consult with a qualified professional, such as Dr. Glenn at Thunderbird Men’s Health, to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience.

  • The science behind Length-X: how neuromodulators can increase penis length

The science behind Length-X: how neuromodulators can increase penis length

Length-X represents a novel approach to penis enlargement, leveraging the properties of neuromodulators to potentially improve erectile function and penile length.

Exploring Length-X: A novel approach to male enhancement

In the ever-evolving field of penis enlargement, innovative approaches are continuously being developed. One such procedure is Length-X, which utilizes neuromodulators derived from Clostridium botulinum — the same substance used to produce Botox.

Traditionally known for their cosmetic applications in reducing wrinkles, neuromodulators are now being used in a variety of medical treatments. Among the more unconventional uses, neuromodulator injections into the penis aim to achieve firmer erections and increased penile length.

What exactly is Length-X, and what can you, the patient, expect from this procedure?

    What is Length-X?

Length-X is Thunderbird Men’s Health’s latest procedure that uses neuromodulators with the intention of enhancing erectile function and increasing penile length. The theory behind this method is that it relaxes the smooth muscle within the blood vessels of the penis, improving blood flow. This improved blood flow facilitates the hydraulic effect that causes an erection, potentially resulting in firmer erections and a slight increase in penile length.

    What’s the procedure?

The process involves injecting the neuromodulator directly into the shaft of the penis. The procedure is relatively non-invasive compared to surgical options for erectile dysfunction or penile augmentation, offering a faster recovery time.

    Expected results from Length-X

As with any cosmetic procedure, results can vary among individuals. However, typical patients have reported several positive outcomes:

    1. Increased Flaccid Length: Patients have observed gains of about 0.5 to 0.75 inches in length, transitioning some men from being “growers” to “showers.”
    2. Improved Erection Quality: Patients have reported larger, firmer erections, with some experiencing improvements in erectile dysfunction, making it easier to achieve and maintain an erection.
    3. Increased Confidence: Even a modest increase in penile length or improved erectile function can significantly boost self-esteem and confidence.
    4. Duration of Effects: The benefits of neuromodulators in the penis can last between 6 to 9 months.

If you’re considering Length-X injections, Thunderbird Men’s Health is ready to assist. Visit our pricing page for further information or contact us to book your appointment.

    Interested in Length-X injections?

As with any medical treatment, it’s essential to consult with a qualified healthcare provider to determine if this procedure is right for you.

  • Top supplements and nutrients for sexual health

Top supplements and nutrients for sexual health

There are no vitamins that have been scientifically proven to support penis enlargement. While some supplements and vitamins claim to enhance sexual health and performance, none are backed by credible scientific evidence for increasing penis size. However, some top vitamins and nutrients can support overall sexual health, which might indirectly benefit performance and function.

The Power Players: Essential Nutrients for Sexual Health

    1. Vitamin D: The Sunshine Vitamin
      • Why It Matters: Vitamin D plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy testosterone levels, which are essential for libido and sexual function. It also helps regulate mood, promoting a positive mental state conducive to sexual desire.
      • Where to Find It: Vitamin D is primarily synthesized in the skin through exposure to sunlight. It is also found in fatty fish like salmon and mackerel, as well as in fortified dairy products and cereals.
    2. Vitamin B3 (Niacin): The Circulation Superstar
      • Why It Matters: Niacin, or vitamin B3, improves blood flow by dilating blood vessels. This enhanced circulation is vital for achieving and maintaining erections.
      • Where to Find It: Niacin is abundant in foods such as poultry, fish (like tuna and salmon), beef, peanuts, and mushrooms.
    3. Vitamin E: The Antioxidant Ally
      • Why It Matters: Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that supports overall circulatory health. By protecting cells from oxidative stress, it helps maintain healthy blood flow to all parts of the body, including the genitals.
      • Where to Find It: Rich sources of vitamin E include nuts (such as almonds and hazelnuts), seeds (like sunflower seeds), green leafy vegetables (such as spinach and broccoli), and vegetable oils (like sunflower oil and wheat germ oil).
    4. Zinc: The Testosterone Booster
      • Why It Matters: Zinc is crucial for testosterone production and regulation. Adequate levels of zinc are essential for maintaining a healthy libido, sperm count, and overall sexual function.
      • Where to Find It: Oysters are the richest source of zinc, but it can also be found in other shellfish, red meat (such as beef and lamb), poultry (like chicken and turkey), beans, nuts, and whole grains.
    5. L-Arginine: The Nitric Oxide Enhancer

      • Where to Find It: L-arginine is found in protein-rich foods such as meat (especially turkey and pork), dairy products (like yogurt and cheese), and nuts (such as peanuts and walnuts).
Niacin is abundant in foods such as poultry, fish, beef, peanuts, and mushrooms.

    Herbal Helpers: Nature’s Boosters

    1. Ginseng: The Ancient Energizer
      • Why It Matters: Ginseng has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to enhance stamina, reduce stress, and improve sexual performance and libido.
      • Where to Find It: Ginseng is available in various forms, including teas, supplements, and extracts derived from the root of the plant.
    2. Maca: The Peruvian Passion Plant
      • Why It Matters: Maca root is renowned for its ability to increase energy, stamina, and sexual desire. It is often used to support overall sexual health and well-being.
      • Where to Find It: Maca is typically consumed in powdered form, which can be added to smoothies, taken in capsules, or used as a supplement.
Ginseng has been used for centuries to improve sexual performance and libido.

Maintaining Good Overall Health Is Key

While no top supplements and nutrients for sexual health can replace a healthy lifestyle, incorporating these nutrients can support your sexual health and overall well-being. Remember, it’s always best to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen.

In the end, a balanced diet, regular exercise, and a positive outlook are the best ways to keep your love life vibrant and satisfying. So, here’s to health, happiness, and many happy nights!

  • Penis enlargement procedure – method, costs, and risks

Penis enlargement procedure – method, costs, and risks

If you’re considering a penis enlargement procedure with Thunderbird Men’s Health, there are a few things you should know before your first appointment.

Thunderbird Men’s Health uses a procedure that injects a realistic-feeling substance into the shaft of your penis, eliminating the need for surgery — no cutting, and no stitches. And the entire process takes about 15 minutes.

    How does it work?

You’re brought into the examination room where you lie face-up on the examination table with your groin area undressed. You leave the rest of your clothes on.

After the area is prepped with an antiseptic solution, Dr. Glenn uses a needle to inject a local anesthetic on either side of the penis, just behind the head. See below.

    penis filler injection sites

Shortly after the penis is numb, using an aesthetic micro-cannula (a short, blunt, flexible tube thinner than a syringe) Dr. Glenn uses the syringe holes and strategically injects filler along the right side and left side of the shaft of the penis. While this is happening, Dr. Glenn describes what he’s doing and shows you the results.

    penis filler injection areas

Dr. Glenn then shapes the filler under your skin extending from the base of the penis to the injection site. Once that step is complete, he wraps your penis with a bandage.

The final results are up to you…but luckily, this part is easy. At home, you’ll need to gently mold the filler into place so that it evenly covers the shaft of the penis.

What is the filler made of?

We offer two types of high-quality filler: Original and Advanced. Original is a hyaluronic acid filler, and Advanced is a combination of hyaluronic acid filler and calcium hydroxy apatite. The latter combination ensures longer-lasting results.

Both types of filler are commonly used in aesthetic medical treatments across the country.

    How much does it cost?

The cost of the procedure depends on your goal size and desired duration of results. Prices generally range from $4,200 for 6 ml of filler all the way up to $16,990 for 30 ml of filler.

Along with filler injections, we also offer some effective lengthening treatments. Those range in price from $550 to $3,790.

Our Services page has a full range of treatments and packages.

We strive for 100% patient satisfaction. Our patients are overall happy with the results and are encouraged to ask questions at any point before, during, and after the procedure.

    Are there any risks?

As with any injection, there is a risk for infection at the injection site. Keeping these areas clean is the best way to prevent infection. The filler is mostly dissolvable, reversing the procedure, if necessary.

    Things to consider

    • The procedure generally takes around 15 minutes to complete.
    • Dr. Glenn will use local anesthesia during the procedure.
    • You’ll return for a follow-up visit about a week later.
    • Your penis may have additional swelling after the procedure. This is normal.
    • You’ll need to abstain from masturbation and sexual activity for about a week.
    • If you aren’t circumcised, it’s not a problem.
    • You can return to normal activities, including things like cycling and motorcycle riding, immediately after the procedure.

  • What causes erectile dysfunction?

    What causes erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction (ED) can be a major source of frustration for sexually active couples. Also referred to as impotence, erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection or achieve one firm enough to make sexual intercourse satisfying, and it has the ability to take the spice out of an otherwise healthy relationship. It’s fairly common.

According to one study, during some time in their lives, half of all men between the ages of 40 to 70 will be affected by ED.

    Causes of erectile dysfunction

Originally thought of as only a psychological problem caused by factors like depression, performance anxiety and other sexual disorders, it’s now known that, for most men, ED can be caused by diseases, disorders, and other factors, including:

    • Diabetes mellitus
    • Cardiovascular Disease
    • Neurological diseases
    • Hypertension
    • Metabolic syndrome
    • Hormonal causes
    • Traumatic injuries (incl. spinal cord, pelvic fractures)
    • Hyperlipidemia
    • Stroke
    • Sleep apnea
    • COPD
    • Glaucoma
    • Multiple sclerosis
    • Side-effect of priapism
    • Depression
    • A variety of medications, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, opioids, and recreational drugs.
    • Enlarged prostate with lower urinary symptoms, along with treatments to treat an enlarged prostate.

As a result of not being able to perform sexually, ED can be distressing for couples. Fortunately, there have been transformative advancements in treatment.

    Medications to treat erectile dysfuntion

Nitric oxide relaxes the muscles of the penis, leading to increased blood flow in response to sexual stimulation. The four medications below enhance the effects of nitric oxide:

    • Sildenafil (Viagra)
    • Tadalafil (Adcirca, Cialis)
    • Vardenafil (Levitra, Staxyn)
    • Avanafil (Stendra)

couple in bed kissingPossible side effects include backaches, upset stomach, flushing, nasal congestion, headache, and changes in vision. ED medications don’t work for everyone. They may be less effective for those who’ve had prostate surgery or those with diabetes.  We should also mention that some of the medications might also be dangerous if you have extremely low blood pressure, have heart disease or heart failure or take nitrate drugs commonly prescribed for chest pain. Other medications for erectile dysfunction include:

    • Alprostadil. With one method, you inject alprostadil into the base or side of your penis. This can create an erection lasting no longer than an hour. Side effects can include mild bleeding from the injection, and prolonged erection, and in rare case, fibrous tissue at the injection site. A second alprostadil delivery method inserting the medication into the urethra using a special applicator. This method can cause an erection lasting between 30 minutes to an hour. Side effects can include a burning feeling in the penis, minor bleeding in the urethra and formation of fibrous tissue inside your penis.
    • Testosterone replacement. Some people whose erectile dysfunction might be complicated by low levels of the testosterone might be recommended for hormone replacement therapy, along with other treatments.
    • Neuromodulators: Applied via injection, neuromodulators can be an effective treatment of ED. Studies have shown that treatments with neuromodulators can improve erectile function, desire, and satisfaction.

    More treatments for erectile dysfunction

    • Vacuum pumps: These pumps draw blood into the cells of the penis, making it swell. A rubber ring is then slipped over the penis, preventing blood from leaving and preserving the penis’s rigidity. Although the pump can provide the right look temporarily, using them for too long can damage the elasticity of the tissue of the penis, leading to softer erections down the road. They also take practice to be used correctly.
    • Penile implants: There are two types of implants: One is a semi-rigid rod that is always firm and can be bent into the position of an erection for sexual activity. The other is a surgically implanted device under the skin of the penis that can be inflated before sexual intercourse and deflated thereafter.
    • Exercise: Regular exercise not only promotes physical health but also enhances stamina and endurance during sexual activity. Better overall fitness can improve blood flow to the entire body, enhancing firmness and duration of erections as well.

Topical creams and oral supplements, often containing vitamins, minerals, herbs, or hormones, are advertised with claims of curing ED. Yet, none of these items have been proven effective through scientific research, and certain ones may pose health risks. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA and there is no guarantee of exactly what you are actually ingesting with these products.

In conclusion, if you’re suffering from ED, realize that you’re not alone and there are plenty of treatments to choose from. Consult with your doctor about which treatment or treatments might be right for you.

  • Penis Enlargement Products and Techniques: Do They Actually Work?

Penis Enlargement Products and Techniques: Do They Actually Work?

While some guys spend their tax returns on things like trips, or toys, others are checking out options that can significantly improve their love life.

We’re talking about penis size and penis enlargement. These have been topics of concern for men throughout history and some have gone to great lengths (pun intended) to go bigger.  As you can imagine, this has resulted in a variety of treatments — some of which are bizarre, painful, and even dangerous. But there are now proven, effective, and safe treatments that actually work to increase the girth and length.

We looked into the procedures that work, to what degree they work, and how long the effects can last.

Penis length and girth: what’s considered average?

Here are some less costly, temporary treatments:

    • Vacuum pumps: These pumps draw blood into the cells of the penis, making it swell. A rubber ring is then slipped over the penis to preserve its rigidity of the penis. These vacuums are sometimes used to treat erectile dysfunction. Although the pump can provide the right look temporarily, using them for too long can damage the elasticity of the tissue of the penis, leading to less firm erections down the road. They also take practice to be used correctly.
    • Stretching: Stretching involves inserting the penis into a stretcher or extender device, also known as a penile traction device, to the penis to apply gradual tension. Studies show potential gains in length, ranging from half an inch to nearly 2 inches (approximately 1-3 cm) with devices. In a 2023 clinical trial, one such device, RestoreX, has been shown to increase penile length in men by 0.75 inches.
    • Exercises: Occasionally referred to as jelqing, these exercises involve a manual stretching technique intended to promote blood flow from the base to the tip of the penis. While seemingly less risky compared to other approaches, there is no scientific evidence to support its effectiveness. It also causes discomfort and carries potentially permanent effects such as scar tissue formation and physical deformities.

    Here’s what doesn’t work

Topical creams and oral supplements, often containing vitamins, minerals, herbs, or hormones, are advertised with claims of enlarging the penis. Yet, none of these items have been proven effective through scientific research, and certain ones may pose health risks. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA and there is no guarantee of exactly what you are actually ingesting with these products.

Here’s what else you can do if you’re concerned about the size of your penis

If the options above don’t seem right for you, or you aren’t ready to take the first step, there are some other things you may want to try:

    • Get in shape: Improving your overall fitness can also positively impact the look of your penis. As we mentioned above, excess weight, particularly around the abdomen, can make the penis seem shorter. Regular exercise not only promotes physical health but also enhances stamina and endurance during sexual activity. Better overall fitness can improve blood flow to the entire body and enhance the firmness and duration of erections. And for you parents, a study finds that there is a strong correlation between childhood obesity, low testosterone, and small penis size.
    • Quit smoking: Smoking can damage or cause narrowing of the tiny vessels that carry blood to the penis. This effect accumulates over the span of years.
    • Talk to your partner: Open communication with your partner is crucial. Although it may be challenging to talk about sexual preferences or old habits that take the enjoyment out of sex, addressing these topics can enhance your sexual relationship and lead to unexpected, positive results.
    • Talk with a mental health expert: Seeking support from a healthcare provider or counselor if you’re feeling dissatisfied with your penis size is never a bad idea. It’s common to experience such concerns, and mental health professionals or your primary health provider can offer guidance and support.
